Can eight independent (bossy?) women get together, come up with a plot, write a mystery, and still remain friends? Unlikely as this may be, we’ve done it!
We are: a church secretary, a retired postmaster, a Lutheran Deaconess, a minister’s widow, a Medical Transcriptionist, a pediatric/geriatric nurse, an accounting supervisor, and a choral conductor – and, yes, WE write murder mysteries.
Some people think it’s strange that our group of eight women, who meet at the church where we are members, can devise heinous plots of murder and intrigue! It’s unlikely – it’s bizarre – but we did it. We range in age from the 50’s to the 80’s! We laugh, we cry, we argue, we write. The result is a book: The Sandcastle Mysteries: Death and Deception at the Jersey Shore. And it's being read and discussed coast to coast.
We hope that this will inspire more people who have that inkling of a dream – that “maybe I could” feeling – to go ahead and go for their vision!.You’ve nothing to lose, and a whole world to gain!
